(KP International) Eminem is going to just do it and design eight limited edition Air Max Nike shoes that will be auctioned in an effort to raise money for charity. Proceeds will go to Eminem's Marshall Mathers Foundation, which works to help troubled youth, as well as ninemillion.org, which aids refugees and those in need.
The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, said on his website, "We're always looking for new ways to try to raise money and awareness for the foundation, so when Nike approached us we jumped at the chance." The Real Slim Shady singer added, "Who wouldn't want to design their own line of Nikes? And to do it for charity makes it that much better."
There will only be 64 pairs made of each of the eight editions, and each pair of shoes will be numbered and autographed. Bids can be placed at Nike stores and on eBay starting August 31st.
